Riding to support Oakland schools

Thanks for checking out my page!

I’m joining the Ride 4A Reason Fundraiser on April 26 to support public schools in Oakland and Alameda. Ride 4A Reason (R4R) is an annual bike ride from Oakland Tech to Sacramento, and our fundraising efforts support more than 6,000 kids in eleven public schools.

This is the 17th year that R4R will be making the trek to the Capitol, and I’m proud to be part of it for the second time. Over this time, R4R parents and supporters have raised close to $1.8 million for public schools in Oakland and Alameda. And as you may know, Oakland is experiencing massive budget deficits, which makes the need for funds even greater.

My goal is to raise $500 by the time I hop on my bike on April 26th - can you donate to help?
Please consider donating $10, $20, $50 or more to help me reach (at least) my minimum goal. 100% of the funds I raise will go directly to these public schools in Oakland and Alameda.

For the official ride, I'll be tackling the full distance of 110 miles.

If you'd like to donate, you can do so by clicking the big DONATE button below. If you want to send in a check, you can make it payable to "Social Good Fund" and put "R4R 2024" in the memo line. You can mail it to: Ride 4A Reason, PO Box 11386, Oakland, CA  94611.

Big shoutout to POMELLA on Piedmont Ave. for being a ride sponsor!
